Unless you started playing Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 from day one or you own a copy of Modern Warfare 2, it is very likely that you still have to upgrade many weapons. In this regard, today we will explain what are the steps to follow to unlock every single Akimbo weapon in the free shooter.
For those who were wondering, the Akimbo version of a weapon consists of double wielding and is an exclusive possibility of small sidearms. In the specific case of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2, dual weapons can only be used with pistols, although it is not excluded that in the future melee weapons or weapons belonging to other categories with this possibility may also arrive. To be able to use two pistols at the same time, all you need to do is unlock a special accessory that falls into the category of grips and which takes its name of Akimbo. Each of the weapons currently available in the ‘Guns’ section of the secondary guns allows you to obtain this gadget at a different level.
Here’s how to unlock the Akimbo grip for every Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 pistol:
.50 GS (Piattaforma Sakin G Series): the Akimbo handle unlocks at Level 17
P890 (Piattaforma Bruen 890): the Akimbo handle unlocks at Level 20
Basilisk (Piattaforma Basilisk 500): the Akimbo handle unlocks at Level 28
X12 (XRK Platform): the Akimbo handle unlocks at Level 19
X13 (XRK Platform): you must unlock the X12’s Akimbo handle and then reach Level 4 to mount the accessory
As you can easily imagine, it is not easy to unlock these accessories in the classic battle royale modes and those who own Modern Warfare 2 can access Akimbo weapons more easily.
