Starting today, Escape from Tarkov players can look forward to brand new content in the first-person shooter. The team took the servers offline for maintenance work in the morning. The update has been available since 4 p.m. The servers were originally supposed to come back around 2 p.m., but a little more time was needed. On the Twitter profile Battlestate Games will give you all the information about the downtime.
What’s in Update 0.13?
A highlight of the beta patch is the debut of the new Streets of Tarkov map, which fans have been waiting for for a long time. Here players will fight for loot mainly in a city environment. Winding buildings, completely deserted streets, wrecked cars and other locations should provide more variety. New weapon models and equipment are also finding their way into the game. Next server wipe is imminent
With the extensive update, the developers will also carry out the next server wipe. Any progress you have made in Escape from Tarkov over the past few months will be completely gone after version 0.13 launches. The entire community starts over again. There is a server wipe in the game roughly every six months. The servers were last cleared in June 2022.

Escape from Tarkov has been in beta for more than five years now. There is no release for the full version yet. For almost two years, the “Streets of Tarkov” map was presented again and again with a teaser. Now the update has been released and can be downloaded directly from the launcher.
