Last December 13, like every year, the Mid-Winter event in Fortnite kicked off. According to the initial plans, the activities should have continued until January 3, 2023, but for some strange reason some of them ended ahead of time. What is going on?
In the past few hours, for no apparent reason, some important content related to the Fortnite Mid-Winter event have disappeared from the games. There is no longer any trace of the Snowball Launchersreplaced by the classic rocket launchers, e not even Christmas presents. Sergeant Bruma is also no longer patrolling the island with his truck.
What is going on? Sadly, we can’t say precisely since the support of Epic Games is silent on the matter, probably since the technicians are in the middle of their holidays. It is possible that it is a bug, also because Season 1 of Chapter 4 has already amply demonstrated that it is not free from it. According to evidence available online, the Mezz’Inverno Refuge is still available: at this game area it is possible to unwrap 14 gifts, one for each day, for a total of 17 free items including two costumes, two hang gliders, two covers, three lobby songs, three sprays, a decorative back, a pickaxe, a trail, an emote, and a smiley.
We await clarification from Epic Games, in the meantime we point out that the contents of the January 2023 Crew Package have just been revealed.
