MegaFon announced the completion of a deal to acquire the Russian software maker oneFactor, which develops analytical platforms based on AI technologies. oneFactor creates analytical AI services for banking, insurance companies, e-commerce, retail and tourism. The company, in particular, launched a machine learning platform for commercial operation to optimize key business processes based on the processing of large data arrays. Its first users were MegaFon, Skyeng and Avito.
In addition, the oneFactor portfolio includes risk assessment services, lead generation for business and commerce development, tourism and urban geoanalytics, and other big data solutions. It is noted that at present the market for products and services based on big data is growing by approximately 40% per year.

Under the terms of the deal, MegaFon became the owner of 100% of Uniform Factor LLC. Following the merger, oneFactor will retain all current contracts and continue to provide services to external partners. “oneFactor is our long-term partner in the field of big data, the appearance of the company in the perimeter of MegaFon will allow us to increase the efficiency of this business area and offer the market the most advanced tools for business development and individual territories,” the operator notes.
