During the victorious 2022 World Cup, the Argentina national team lived in the premises of Qatar University. The university itself announced that they plan to make a small museum out of the room in which Messi lived.
The room will be left untouched. The conversion of the room into a museum will be completed within a few weeks. The opening date is not yet known.
The campus itself is painted blue and white. It contains a collection of autographed T-shirts of Argentina national team players.
