Top Russian skiers Sergei Ustyugov and Alexander Bolshunov collided and fell in the semi-finals of the skating sprint at the stage of the Russian Cup in Krasnogorsk.
As a result, both could not make it to the final, and Bolshunov generally broke his face.
After the race ended, two representatives of the terrorist country commented on the episode:
“I understand that he did it on purpose. Of course, I felt a hook and a push, but I didn’t fall myself. He was not injured, but lost consciousness for a while, trying to recover. I didn’t understand where I was. We haven’t seen Sergey yet after the race,” said Bolshunov.
“It wasn’t intentional. I wanted to act harder, but there was no intention to drop or injure. I am not that kind of person. But I worked harder within the rules, as I said before the competition … This is a sport. I wanted to try a tougher contact fight, ”said Ustyugov.
Note that skiers from the Russian Federation were suspended from international competitions.
