What do the Xiaomi Buds 3 offer?
Comfortable earbuds Noise reduction up to -40 dB And a good battery life of 7 hours
Sold at a price of 129.99 euros on the official website, the Xiaomi Buds 3 are currently on sale at only 59 euros on Cdiscount.
Comfortable and lightweight earbuds
On the Buds 3, Xiaomi has chosen to offer in-ear headphones in rod format, with silicone tips that nestle in the ear canal. A design that allows for better passive isolation and optimized sound quality. They fit quite well in the ears and can be used without fear during your sports sessions. They are also IP55 certified and splash resistant.
They will quickly be forgotten, and you can enjoy them for long sessions since they are able to last 7 hours without ANC according to the manufacturer. The case allows him to recover a total of 32 hours of use. The latter is also compatible with Qi wireless charging by induction.
A calmer atmosphere thanks to ANC
The Xiaomi Buds 3 offer active noise reduction, and would thus be able to attenuate external noise by up to 40 dB, according to the brand. In fact, the ANC will be far from reaching the level of more premium headphones, but will effectively eliminate certain annoying noises, and will satisfy many users. There are also three levels of active noise reduction to adjust the level according to the environment. A Transparency mode is also present to stay on the lookout for surrounding noise and especially people likely to talk to you.
For the audio part, the headphones incorporate transducers 10 mm in diameter. If Xiaomi specifies that they are capable of delivering hi-fi sound, here we do not find an LDAC codec or aptX, but the classic AAC and SBC codecs which do not make it possible to offer a bit rate beyond 400 kb/s. However, the sound reproduction seems to be of good quality.
