Independent studio Gamera Interactive released a massive winter update to the isometric RPG Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms. It adds locations, quests, enemy types and new bosses to the game, as well as two long-awaited modes, Hardcore and Permadeath.
Both options, Hardcore Mode and Permadeath, will be available after successful completion. In this case, the new character will not be trained, but will go straight to the capital. To enable hardcore mode, you will need to talk to the NPC at the training ground.
After launch, all mobs will increase their power by 75%, and the hero and his group will be weaker by 25%. In the event of death, all equipment will be lost. And in Permadeath mode, there will be no resurrection, and to activate it, you need to go to the sanctuary of Martum, it is now available on the world map.
In addition, in the update, players will have access to 30 new locations, 10 quests, 2 enemies and 3 new boss battles.
Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms went into early access in June to mostly positive reviews. Until January 5, you can buy it at a discount, for 309 rubles.
