The domestic civil aviation industry faces a truly cyclopean task: to revive the industry and make it completely independent of imports – there is no other way out in the current conditions, so you need to work hard. In connection with the so-called sanctions, the mass production of the promising domestic MS-21 airliner has shifted to the right until 2024, but the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) believes that the expectation will fully justify itself. Today, UAC not only received a certificate for the MS-21-310 model with a Russian PD-14 engine and a wing made of composite materials, but also announced that the first deliveries of these aircraft will begin at the end of 2024, that is, soon after the start of their mass production.

At the same time, the UAC reported that in 2024, deliveries of the imported Sukhoi Superjet 100 – SSJ-New will also begin. As the head of the UAC, Yuri Slyusar, noted, the industry plans to produce at least twenty updated Superjets per year. At the same time, the scale of MS-21 production will be approximately twice as large – 38-39 boards per year (they expect to produce 270 units in the period from 2024 to 2030).
