Samsung must announce a range of smartphones Galaxy S23 in February next year. Apparently, the new top-of-the-range Samsung smartphones will be presented at February 1, 2023 Galaxy Unpacked. However, in addition to the new Samsung mobile phones, we also have a new generation of Windows laptops from the Galaxy Book line.
These work platforms will arrive with new processors, better build quality and extended autonomy to compete directly with Huawei in this segment. It should be noted that, currently, the Chinese manufacturer has a good presence in the portable PC market with Windows machines that are very well built and perform well.
Samsung may launch new generation of Galaxy Book notebooks in Unpacked 2023
The news is now advanced by the publication SamMobile, a medium specialized in the struggles of the South Korean manufacturer, leader in the mobile market.
According to his report, the brand is preparing to present new top-of-the-range Windows notebooks with new technical characteristics and improved design compared to the current Galaxy Book 2.
In addition, we have new software capabilities, reinforcing the integration between Samsung Galaxy smartphones, smart watches, tablets, headphones and other branded gadgets.
In other words, these new generation Windows notebooks will arrive to cement Samsung’s ecosystem, providing it with new capabilities.
The speculation points to a new generation of Intel 13th Gen processors (13th generation) for these laptops. However, based on the current generation, it is relatively easy to make a prognosis judgment and essentially guess the points to improve.
In question are the laptops Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360
Firstly, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro notebook has a 13.3-inch diagonal. The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 notebooks will have a larger 15.6-inch screen. Both computers will have the same 16:9 aspect ratio with AMOLED screens.
Furthermore, the resolution of these panels will be Full-HD with a total of 400 nits of brightness, standard characteristics for the screen of new portable computers. We also have support for displaying HDR content, with brightness increasing to 500 nits.
On the other hand, the lightest will be the 13.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro at 1.04 kg. As for the 15.6-inch diagonal model, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 will have a weight of 1.41 kg, slightly heavier, but still very transportable.
Just recently, Samsung made known new versions of these computers equipped with ARM processors from Qualcomm, and in February we should get to know the variants with Intel chipsets.
New Samsung laptops will bring Microsoft’s new Windows 11
In both models we have Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system, as well as support for the S-Pen, the brand’s own stylus. This gadget will feature low latency, ideal for writing, drawing and taking notes more naturally.
For that purpose, the Samsung Notes application (Notes), will have new software resources such as hyperlinks, more present and useful (links). We will also have support for handwriting recognition to speed up the capture of notes and their storage.
We can also point out the strengthening of integration between Samsung notebooks and respective Samsung Galaxy smartphones, with a more comprehensive bridge between Windows and Android.
Finally, we now have to wait for the official presentation of the new Galaxy Books during the Galaxy Unpacked to be celebrated, possibly, on February 1, 2023.
