Because in a few hours, a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming game will premiere on YouTube. GSC Game World wants to show the progress in the development of the shooter.
The developers at GSC Game World are back today with new visuals of the upcoming Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. A new trailer for the game will premiere on YouTube in a few hours. This will be the first new gameplay clip in almost six months.
First new gameplay footage in almost six months
With the new gameplay footage, the Ukrainian developers of GSC Game World want to show the progress made in the development of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Recently there have been persistent rumors that the shooter will be postponed again. The game was originally supposed to be released on April 28, 2022. For further fine-tuning, however, the release was set for December 8, 2022.

But then the Russian attack on Ukraine began, where the GSC Game World studio is based. Understandably, work on the shooter was first paused to keep himself and loved ones safe, but then resumed. The release of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl should not take place until 2023. Another shift was denied by the developers.
The developers of GSC Game World recently published an emotional Christmas letter on the Stalker 2 Steam page. Despite the gloomy past few months, we are still looking forward to 2023 and wish the players, their friends and families all the best. Next year is sure to bring more positive news, the studio said in the letter.
