In 2019 the studio Iron Wolf released in Steam free digital companion app U-BOOT The Board Game to the famous board game. It was intended to provide the proper level of realism, but all the battles still took place on a cardboard field.
That’s about to change: thanks to Polish studios Out Of The Ordinary and G11 Any players will be able to get acquainted with the known strategy. Steam now has a page for U-Boot: The Board Game – Digital Edition, the full digital version of the board game.
Players will take control of a powerful warship from the Second World War. To complete missions, you will need to give orders, destroy enemy ships and prevent our submarine from sinking. Success will depend on how efficiently resources are used and how high team morale is.
So far, the exact release date of U-Boot: The Board Game – Digital Edition is unknown, but the creators promise an early premiere.
