Those who drive on a daily basis know that there is always an associated risk, which must be minimized based on our own choices and driving style. Taking this into account, having more information to make the best possible decisions is obviously positive.
Therefore, it might be a good idea to start looking at Waze with different eyes, as the navigation app will be able to warn you when you are about to enter a road with a history of accidents.
Waze will be able to warn when the road is dangerous

Therefore, the team responsible for Waze is currently working on a new feature capable of alerting drivers of the history of accidents on certain roads. The idea is to make them slow down and redouble their attention to what is in front of them.
How does this warning happen?
On the map, these roads will appear in red color, in addition, the application will warn the driver, in the exact same way that it already warns of radars, or obstacles on the road. Apparently, the functionality will again be based on the reports of the users, and for that very reason, it is something that will evolve over time, as there are more and more reports.
This novelty is already available in the beta version of the application, but we still don’t know when it will reach all users. Most likely it should happen sometime early next year, when the working forces return to their jobs, at full strength.
Also, what do you think about all this? Do you use Waze? Or do you prefer Google Maps? Did you know that both apps belong to Google, and in fact, are even developed by the exact same team of programmers? Share your opinion with us in the comments box below.
