In the new year 2023 we can expect WoW Patch 10.0.5, which includes the trading post feature. This brings with it a kind of in-game shop, for which we receive the necessary foreign exchange currency via ongoing WoW subscriptions. These are also available for completing tasks, which also unlocks a special spectral tiger mount. But with the foreign exchange currency you also get many other mounts – dataminers have discovered some that have not yet been officially revealed. We’ll show you!

WoW Patch 10.0.5: Mounts in the trading post – many reskins
We can say one thing directly: If you expect exclusive models and groundbreaking designs, you will be disappointed by the trading post. The developers are taking a simple and comprehensible route: These are reskins of well-known mounts, almost all of them from Battle for Azeroth. Since some of these previous models were obtainable via costly achievements, reputation grinds or rare drop rates, the trading post becomes an easier way to get mounts like a pirate parrot or a crab mount. Take a look for yourself:

In Battle for Azeroth, players with Exalted reputation with the Zandalari Empire could claim the Cobalt Pterrordax. According to data mining, patch 10.0.5 will be followed by a fully gold-plated version in the trading post.

The green swamp jumper was available in BfA for 333,333 gold. Ardenweald and Zereth-Mortis variants followed in Shadowlands, which also offered larger modifications of the model. If you just want a turquoise hop, just wait for the release of patch 10.0.5, in which the frog will probably be part of the trading post.

After the parrot mount Squawk dropped via the island expeditions in BfA, a purple relative named Krah now follows in patch 10.0.5

Cloud Serpents come from Mists of Pandaria and are available in dozens of different colors. However, if you like the magenta look, which has not been available before, you will be happy about this trading post mount.

A particularly interesting candidate for the Trading Post: In Battle for Azeroth, we were able to earn a Snapback Crawler mount in Nazjatar through the area’s meta-achievement. If you want a blue crustacean instead of the red coloring, you will probably get that in the trading post from patch 10.0.5.
