Who says new year also says new projects to get your teeth into, and Netflix does not expect to wait long to get you hooked. From January 1, 2023, you will be able to discover the new series Kaleidoscope on the SVOD platform and thus find an actor much appreciated by fans of geek culture.
In effect, Giancarlo Esposito (which you may have seen in the video game Far Cry 6, the series The Mandalorian and Breaking Bad or even in the second and third installments of the dystopian films The Labyrinth) will be back in this new series as the main character. He will then play a master robber trying to set up an elite team to steal no less than seven billion dollars contained in a reputedly inviolable safe.

If films, series and other cultural entertainment projects revolving around robberies are not really new (we remember for example the cult Ocean’s but also the most recent Insaisissables or even Baby Driver), it must be said that they have the particularity of being satisfying to watch. Between the meticulously prepared plans and the unforeseen events that disrupt them, these kinds of stories are often full of twists and turns and stressful moments. So when they are coupled with a dream cast, you might as well say that curiosity is there. And Netflix knows it very well.
Building on their success with the tidal wave that was La Casa de Papel as it was broadcast, it is hardly surprising to see the SVOD service trying to put the cover back by releasing another series of robbery. No masks and iconic outfits this time, but a famous actor and a quest at first sight impossible to achieve. Add to that a story of revenge and high stakes, and you have your new series to start the year. It only remains to be tempted to find out if it will be worth it to go until the end of the season, or even to wait impatiently for the sequel. Reply on January 1.
