The tablet segment has been losing a lot of strength after the boom it felt at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. At that time, there was a rush to buy this type of equipment that works as another screen and Internet access inside a house.
But with the return to normality without confinement, this market began to register a sharp downward trend that has continued until now. For this reason, the brands present in this segment launch new products much more widely, and Apple is no exception.
There has been talk for a long time about the existence of an iPad Pro with an OLED screen, but it seems that this will only happen in 2024. The wait will thus be longer than initially anticipated. According to the rumors released, this model will be released during the first quarter of 2024.
But even though the launch is over a year away from happening, rumors about this equipment are starting to emerge. Ross Young, known for disclosing a lot of information about Apple, is advancing that the new iPad Pro OLED will arrive in two different sizes.
More specifically, the model will be available in variants with 11.1 and 13 inches. The same source also advances that these models will also have smaller frames and that the dimensions should not be changed, compared to previous generations of the tablet.
Ross Young previously claimed that in 2023 Apple would launch a new iPad Pro with a massive 14.1-inch screen. But the well-known leaker now claims that Tim Cook’s company has given up on this plan.
For that reason, it is not clear whether in 2023 Apple will renew its line of iPads with the launch of new models.
It is recalled that the company in October of this year launched updated variants of the iPad Pro with 11 and 12.9-inch screens, whose main novelty was the integration of the new M2 processor.
But the brand did not give much prominence to this release, which was only publicized through press releases that were made available on all its international websites.
