Ukrainian businessman and former people’s deputy arrested in France Konstantin Zhevago resigned as director and resigned from the board of directors of Ferrexpo.
“The company announces that Mr. Zhevago is leaving the Board of Directors of Ferrexpo plc… The Board is taking steps to formally document his resignation,” the statement says.
Note that Ferrexpo is a sponsor of the Vorskla football club.
Note that Zhevago was arrested in the Alpine ski resort of Courchevel in France. The businessman will be under arrest while French law enforcement agencies are considering Ukraine’s extradition request for his extradition.
