The media shared a new frame from the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2. On it, Miles Morales met in a fight with Spider-Man 2099, aka Miguel O’Hara. O’Hara was originally voiced by Oscar Isaac.
In the story, Miles teams up with Gwen Stacy to search for the Spiders in parallel universes in order to confront the most powerful threat together. It is believed that the antagonist will be Spot.
Directed by Joaquín Dos Santos, Justin Thompson and Soul co-writer Kemp Powers. Phil Lord worked on the script (besides, he wrote the script for the first cartoon), Christopher Miller and David Callaham.
In addition to Isaac, Shamik Moore, Issa Rae, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Schwartzman, Jake Johnson and Daniel Kaluuya (Spider-Punk!) gave their voices to the characters. The cartoon combines six graphic styles and, according to lead animator Ere Santos, resembles Avengers: Endgame in scale.
In the US, from June 2, 2023. The release of the third part is scheduled for March 2024.
