In the cute indie game Stardew Valley you are the owner of your own little farm, with all that entails. For example, you can grow new seeds or take care of your animals. In addition, you can make friends with the villagers in the nearby town and form deep bonds. The title from 2016 is still very popular and offers lots of relaxed farm adventures for young and old. But all mobile users are currently experiencing a severe setback. Because the long-awaited update 1.5 was supposed to be released by the end of the year and had to be postponed at the last minute.
Stardew Valley Update 1.5 for mobile devices has been postponed
While the patch was released for PC in 2020 and for PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in 2021, Android and IOS players will still have to be patient. The creator of the game ConceredApe announced on Twitter that they simply need a little more time. So you are on the last moves and only work on the final touches. Therefore, the release had to be postponed by another week.

“We are so close [dran]. we could [das Update] probably release now, but we need another week for quality assurance,” says the developer. The big update 1.5 implements new farm types, different starting defaults, new areas and much more. Besides porting old updates, ConcernedApe and his team are already working hard on their new title Haunted Chocolatier.
Stardew Valley continues to enjoy great popularity
Although the indie title is already six years old, it continues to receive regular updates and delights thousands of players around the world. Stardew Valley (buy now €25.98) recorded an average of 28,000 players (via steamcharts). These are numbers that some triple-A blockbusters can only dream of, especially considering the age of the game.
