The new year should be extremely interesting for fans of Assassin’s Creed. In 2017, the modern representatives of the multi-million franchise mutated into huge open-world games with a clear role-playing element. In Origins we went to Egypt, ancient Greece was to be explored in Odyssey (2019) and with Valhalla the “Reboot” trilogy found its crowning glory thanks to an atmospheric Viking setting. Now that the final update for Valhalla has been released, a new era is beginning for Ubisoft’s legendary game series. A few weeks ago, a total of five new titles were announced that should raise Assassin’s Creed to a new level of popularity and provide countless motifs for varied cosplay.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage erscheint 2023
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage kicks things off. The 13th main part is supposed to be smaller again in terms of scope, skill tree and loot, but numerous fan reactions indicate that this decision will be well received by the players. Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, set in historic Baghdad, will finally be released in August 2023 and will continue the story of Valhalla.
With Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, a new mobile title is making its way into the franchise. Appropriately, the story takes place in Asia, more precisely in China. However, it should not be an irrelevant mobile game, but a full-fledged representative with a fully developed open world. It will even be possible to create your own character using the character editor.
Assassin’s Creed: This cosplayer goes back to basics
In theory, a cosplay is also a character editor. Except that this works analogously and, in contrast to operating some sliders, is much more complex in real life. Cosplayer Lomias from Germany took on the challenge of creating a character from Assassin’s Creed “in real life”.

In a post on Instagram, she can be seen gracefully preparing for a so-called Leap of Faith over the rooftops of old London. The game series’ iconic jump includes a somersault, before plunging fearlessly into a bug-ridden haystack with outstretched arms. Her assassin’s outfit looks extremely elaborate and made with attention to detail.
