The last few weeks have given us new information about the Gothic Remake project, one of the most awaited titles for the next few years. As seen recently, in fact, a new screenshot and new music from Gothic Remake appeared on the net. However, while waiting for this title, there would seem to be some news on the horizon for the series.
According to the latest Tweet from the Gothic Game account, it appears there is a port of the series on Nintendo Switch is in the works. The supposition derives from the message associated with what would appear to be a game screen directly captured by one of the brand’s productions on Nintendo’s hybrid console. The post reads as follows:
“With the year drawing to a close, we want to thank each and every one of you for your overwhelming support. Gothic wouldn’t have become what it is today without each and every one of you. Happy New Year, Nameless Heroes! May the coming years be full of surprises“. It is therefore reasonable to expect news regarding the saga for the coming months, even if what is most striking is the possible play on words made by the creator of the Tweet.
In fact, the original language version of the aforementioned message ends with a “May the coming years be full of surprise”. There is no way if “May” refers to a possible time period in which some official information will arrive, as in the case of the recent rumors about the possible release of Redfall revealed with a pun. Although this last element is a simple speculation, it is however extremely probable that i the coming months or years will be full of news for Nintendo Switch owners. For the moment, therefore, we just have to wait for the arrival of new information on the possible project to revisit the iterations of the brand and their arrival on the hybrid console of the Grande N.
