The second quarterfinal match at the World Youth Ice Hockey Championship took place. The Czech national team, which won its group, dealt with Switzerland in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The Czechs scored 9 goals to the opponent and confidently advanced to the semi-finals. Earlier, the Swedish national team reached the semi-finals, which defeated Finland.
In the remaining quarter-finals, the USA will play Germany and Canada – Slovakia.
