Arkane Studios has built a pretty good reputation with the gaming community over the years. Above all, of course, for fans of the so-called immersive sims, Arkane has a special place in their hearts, thanks to great games like the Dishonored series. Arkane last released Deathloop in 2020, but it didn’t go down as well with players as the studio’s previous works. This was reflected in the sales figures and despite some updates and improvements, Deathloop is currently sitting on “mostly positive” reviews on Steam.
Voice actor is again pointing to a successor to Deathloop
However, that doesn’t mean that Deathloop (buy now / €50.99 ) was an absolute flop, because quite a few users liked the interesting setting paired with the well-known Arkane gameplay. There could be good news for these players in particular, because it looks like Arkane still has some plans for the new IP. Jason Kelley, the voice of protagonist Colt, may have revealed in a recent live stream with Ozioma Akagha, who provided the voice of Juliana, that the two voice actors are returning to a previously unannounced project.
When asked about revealing the codename Bethesda used for Deathloop, Kelley flatly stated that he couldn’t reveal it, since the two voice actors are still occasionally hired under the codenames. Shortly thereafter he added, rather embarrassed, if he had just said something he shouldn’t have said.

Deathloop: Arkane talks about a previously undiscovered secret in the game
Arkane Studios’ Deathloop Level Designer tweeted about a previously undiscovered secret in the time loop game.
Interestingly, there was already a teaser for a new project in Kelley’s Deathloop universe in May last year. On Twitter he shared a picture in the recording studio with the hashtag Deathloop. According to Kelley, these recordings will be used for a new title. If a new Deathloop offshoot is actually in the works, it will probably be a while before we receive official information. Arkane Studios is also currently working on the co-op shooter Redfall, which should be released sometime this year.
