The year has barely started, but there are products that we certainly hope to see launched by Apple in 2023. New iPhone, Apple Watch and MacBook Pro seem to be certainties. But there are others who don’t.
In one of the latest articles, MacRumors experts compiled some of the Apple products that are not expected to be released in 2023. Although there are no official statements, some of the choices seem pretty obvious.
iPhone SE 4th generation
With the third generation iPhone SE released in 2022, it seems unlikely that Apple will decide to launch a successor this year. It is recalled that the current model hit the market with the iPhone 13 processor, A15 Bionic, in the body of the iPhone 8.
Taking into account the previous release schedule, we should only expect a new iPhone SE in 2024. By that time, it is expected that the equipment can reach the market with the design of the iPhone XR, with a notch and without Touch ID.
Apple Car
The electric car has been one of Apple’s most anticipated products for several years now. But with little information about it at this point in the championship, it is unlikely to hit the market this year.
MacBook Air 13 inch
A product that was extensively revamped in 2022 was the 13-inch MacBook Air, which hit the market with a MacBook Pro design and M2 processor.
For 2023 there are even rumors that a 15.2-inch model with an M2 and M2 Pro processor could be launched. But a new 13-inch Air won’t be in Apple’s plans for this year.
These are just some of the products not expected from Apple this year. No new AirPods Pro, new iPad Pro or a new generation of Apple TV 4K are also expected.
