Naughty Dogs Neil Druckmann wishes all fans a Happy New Year. At the same time, he warns against insider information that doesn’t always hit the mark. Previously, rumors about “The Last of Us Part 3” made the rounds.
end of last year came the rumour on that Naughty Dog is working on another part of the “The Last of Us” series. “Dr. Uckmann’s next game is The Last of Us Part 3, which is currently in production at Naughty Dog,” claimed a Twitter user who has also been an insider in the past.
It appears, however, that the Dr. Uckmann, of course referring to Naughty Dogs co-president Neil Druckmann, is not too convinced by this rumor. In a New Year’s tweet, he warned of “inside information” of which “much of it was wrong”.
“Happy New Year, dear people! As always, thank you for the incredible support. We have a lot of cool stuff coming up next year that we’re dying to share with you! (PS Be careful with “inside information”, much of it is false)”, so der Naughty Dog-Veteran.
Whether Druckmann is actually referring to the latest rumor about “The Last of Us Part 3” cannot be inferred from the tweet without a doubt. However, it only germinated two weeks before the turn of the year and was not backed up with any substantive information.
In fact, the statement from the “Twitter insider” seemed more like a joke. He announced the “unveiling” as follows: “If I don’t send a screener link to The Last of Us in ten minutes [Gemeint ist die TV-Serie] get, I have to sell a blockbuster. This isn’t blackmail, I’d just be too busy to tweet.”
Multiplayer mode in progress
While it’s unclear when a new installment in The Last of Us series will be released, it is clear that Naughty Dog is indeed working on this series. There is one in production standalone Factions mode, which sends players into multiplayer matches. Recently the message came up that fans probably have one Free-to-play release can expect.
