The smartphone camera is one of the most important factors when buying. A reality that does not go unnoticed by smartphone manufacturers such as OPPO, which is preparing the next generation of Android smartphones, its OPPO Find X6 Pro arriving in the 1st quarter of 2023.
Apparently, this high-end smartphone will deliver up to 120x magnification for users. That is, a new zoom of up to 120 times, hybrid, when using part of optical magnification and, above all, the digital magnification provided by high-resolution image sensors that allow us to zoom in with little deterioration of the image.
Photography will be one of the priorities for the OPPO Find X6 Pro
The information now comes to us from one of the most reputable sources in the industry, the Digital Chat Station leak, with an impeccable record of reliability.
That said, for the front camera, to capture selfies, the OPPO Find X6 will have a 32 MP camera, consisting of the Sony IMX709 sensor, as well as wide-angle optics.
However, it is on its back that we will find the real star of the phone, the triple main camera. It will have three 50 MP cameras, apparently all with the same Sony IMX989 sensor of about 1 inch.
It should be noted that this is one of the largest, if not the largest image sensor developed for mobile devices that we can find on the market to date.
Up to 120x magnification on this Android smartphone
For this Android phone, OPPO will combine the aforementioned image sensors with wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle optics, as well as a periscopic optics system.
In this way, it will manage to give us up to 3x of optical magnification without loss of quality, with the image stabilization system, the OIS.
More specifically, points out the leaker Digital Chat Station, the optical magnification ratio will be 2.7x, but with software optimizations this value will be aimed at 3x optical magnification.
However, it is in digital zoom, the digital magnification capacity that the Chinese manufacturer also wants to set a new record by aiming for 120x magnification or digital zoom.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be its SoC
According to new information, the camera with optical zoom and periscopic optics will surpass that of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, delivering more quality and greater approximation capacity.
Furthermore, it will also be aided by the MariSilicon X chip, the image signal processor developed by OPPO itself for its Android smartphones.
Still according to this source, the OPPO Find X6 Pro smartphone will bring a new technology for adjusting the lighting and brightness of the screen, something similar to what we have on Smart TV’s.
Reportedly, we will have high-frequency dimming on the Find X6 Pro to better optimize the power consumption of this panel, in addition to providing a better user experience.
More specifically, the dimming frequency will be 1440 Hz to quickly adjust the screen brightness level and thus optimize energy consumption in each situation.
Official presentation date has not been revealed by OPPO
We recall that the OPPO Find X6 Pro should deliver a 6.8 or 6.9-inch diagonal screen with Quad-HD+ resolution and AMOLED technology with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
We will also have the fingerprint reader built into the screen, in addition to the most powerful processor on the market for Android smartphones, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
There’s still room for a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and up to 100 W of cable charging power, or 50 W of wireless charging.
We will also have OPPO’s ColorOS 13 interface, based on Google’s latest operating system, its Android 13. This same version of the interface is being distributed to several current models of Chinese technology.
Finally, we still do not know the official presentation date of the OPPO Find X6, however, the phones must be presented during the 1st quarter of 2023.
