After talking about the return of the Overwatch World Cup 2023, let’s go back to the well-known Blizzard hero shooter to anticipate the more important details of the Battle for Olympus eventthe first of 2023 for Overwatch 2 starting on January 5 and lasting just two weeks.
Overwatch 2 will enter the world of the gods of Greek mythology with the upcoming Battle for Olympus in-game event: as per tradition for Blizzard, it will see the release of new skins in line with the theme of the event and special ad hoc game modes.
At present not all the exact information regarding the event is known, but we already know that the battle pass will allow players to unlock the following three skins: Zeus Junker Queen (Mythic), Poseidon Ramattra (Legendary) and Hades Pharah (Legendary). Beware, however, of adding other cosmetic effects unlockable throughout the entire event.
According to what then resumed by Overwatch Cavalry, the Battle for Olympus will introduce heroes with godlike powers in the new mode: for example, Reinhardt will be a Minotaur ready to charge enemies in rapid succession, while the Cyclops Roadhog will shoot boulders and Pharah, as Hades, will fire 3 rockets to eliminate opponents. The game mode is not yet well defined; therefore, we will have to wait several more hours before finding out what the special event has in store for us.
Finally, remember that the Battle for Olympus will take place from January 5th to the 19th of the month.
Still speaking of the same title, apparently a new glitch allows you to receive golden skins during matches.
