Flop games of the year 2022
We have already presented you with the best titles of the past twelve months – here are some of the biggest failures that you shouldn’t do to yourself. Unless you like game disasters.
Platz 5
The Last Oricru
PS5 / Xbox Series X
Steffen Heller says: I felt bad when the developers wanted to add an online mode to the Soulslike RPG shortly before the end. Like all the other elements, it is implemented only half-baked to disappointing. This is particularly bitter, because how much you can influence the story factions is quite fascinating.

Platz 4
Skill Milestones
Switch
Ulrich Steppberger says: To track down comparably botched oldie collections, you have to look back to the pre-PS2 era. Since then, no manufacturer has dared to put such a meager and carelessly (extras? Pfft, don’t!) put together hodgepodge into the world in terms of quantity and quality.

Platz 3
Babylon’s Fall
PS4 / PS5
Steffen Heller says: Square Enix and service titles just don’t mix. Hack ‘n’ slay experts PlatinumGames deliver clumsy co-op brawls with dull levels and heaps of grind. The title has even been removed from the shops since the servers will be shut down on February 28th.

Platz 2
Motorway police simulator 3
PS4 / PS5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X
Ulrich Steppberger says: Despite numerous problems, the predecessor was still able to pass with (a lot of) goodwill as a “so bad that it’s good again” bite. Part 3 makes this impossible, especially because of the underground technology, even on the new generation of consoles.

Platz 1
Gungrave G.O.R.E
PS4 / PS5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X
Steffen Heller says: A list of action packed PS2 third person shooters that are still better today: Max Payne, Resident Evil 4, Psi-Ops, Total Overdose, Red Dead Revolver, Sniper Elite, The Suffering, They, Project Eden, James Bond 007 – From Moscow with Love and 007 – All or Nothing.
You can find the test in the current M! 01/23.
