When will the retail version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt be released for the PlayStation 5? A trader may have accidentally leaked the date.
In the middle of last month, after a long wait, CD Projekt RED released the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the fantasy role-playing game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, giving players a reason to play Geralt von Rivia once more Riding Novigrad, Skellige and Co. and going on a monster hunt.
Earlier than expected?
However, the upgraded version has so far only appeared as a digital version, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners receiving a free upgrade within the console family. But some players would certainly wish for a physical version of the celebrated adventure again.
So far, CD Projekt RED has not revealed an official date for another retail version. However, a retailer may have already unveiled a date in advance. The Polish colleagues from PPE have discovered an entry for the PS5 retail version at Ultima, according to which it should be published on January 26, 2023 at a price of 34.99 euros.
According to the dealer, this would also be a Complete Edition, which, in addition to the actual main game, also includes the two expansions “Hearts of Stone” and “Blood and Wine” as well as all other previously released DLCs and updates. Of course, all the technical improvements that have come with the latest versions are also on board.

It is not known whether this date is actually correct. The Polish dealer has since removed the entry, which is why you have to be patient. If the release is that close, CD Projekt RED should also share relevant information soon.
