As fans await new episodes, cosplayer Mehda Srivastava took the time to capture one of the show’s best moments: dancing Wednesday in a dress!
Wednesday on Netflix, the Addams Family spin-off series, revolves around the misanthropic titular heroine – played by Jenna Ortega. The series has delighted viewers worldwide and, alongside Stranger Things, Dahmer & Co., is one of the most recent success stories on the streaming platform. It also helps that showrunner Tim Burton lets his strengths flow into the series: quirky characters with heart and a fairytale look. The latter, of course, also has an impact on the wardrobe, which is best underscored by the Nevermore Academy Grand Ball. For this, Wednesday surprisingly dresses up. Cosplayer Medha Srivastava had to capture the cool outfit!

While the cosplayer simply bought the black skirt, she sewed the top of her outfit herself. Combined with a dummy of the living hand “Thing”, great make-up and the hairstyle from the series, the result is a fantastic sight:

But what would cosplaying a dance scene be without the moves to match? Medha also uploaded a video to Instagram of her doing Wednesday’s dance! And it’s just as weird, disturbing, and awesome as the original.

If and when exactly the next season of Wednesday will be released has not yet been officially confirmed. However, it is difficult to assume that a phenomenon like Wednesday is definitely a worthwhile Season 2 for Netflix. But nothing is certain: After all, the successful Netflix series 1899 was surprisingly canceled.
