The franchise of Skylanders it has been stopped for several years now, and it is one of the Activision series that we would like to review during this 2023. According to the information present in a publisher survey, not all hope could be lost.
A reddit user shared a screenshot of a survey apparently sent by Activision to its customers. The publisher says he is interested in knowing the interest that players still have in the Skylanders franchise, and makes an explicit reference to a possible collection of the series set in the Spyro the Dragon universe.
In asking users for information, Activision talks about the possibility of creating a remastered collection of Spyro’s Adventure, Giants e Swap Forcewhich among other things it wouldn’t even require the use of action figures. In this way, possible barriers between the players and the gaming experience would be broken down, although the figurines have always been of fundamental importance to the Skylanders series.
The survey also mentions the possible names of the collection (Skylanders Anthology, Portal Pack or Eons) and the launch window, set for Q4 2023.
At the moment Activision has not released any comments on the future of the Skylanders series, so we look forward to any updates from the publisher.
