As 2023 kicks off, it’s time to discover the fan creations that qualified for the new in-house judging round LEGO: what will be the next sets READ Ideas to come true?
Among the candidates of 2023, we find a remarkable replica of the Temple of Time that populates Hyrule’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The imposing structure imagined by Nintendo artists is in fact the absolute protagonist of one of the sets that qualified for the first wave of LEGO Ideas evaluations of the new year. Signed by LEGOverwatchcreation has long passed the threshold of 10,000 votes needed for consideration by the LEGO creative team, who may approve its actual distribution.
The evaluation process will involve a total of 36 creations of the fans. In addition to the Temple of Time taken from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Danish company will review decidedly ambitious creations, including replicas of the flying house from the Pixar film Up and tributes to Nightmare Before Christmas, The Neverending Story and many others .
It is not the first time that the series Nintendo manages to find space within the initiative, but none of the previous proposals has ever turned into reality. Recently, however, it seems that something has changed in the relationship between LEGO and the Kyoto giant, given that now LEGO no longer accepts The Legend of Zelda-themed Ideas proposals. On the other hand, the partnership between Grande N and the Danish company with regard to the publication of new LEGO Super Mario sets continues without changes.
