That’s not counting Tesla and Apple.
At the end of December, there were rumors that TSMC could start producing Tesla FSD neural processors using 4nm technology at a new facility in Arizona, which will be launched in 2024. Now, the DigiTimes website reports that Google and Oppo may join the number of customers of the Taiwanese contractor in the segment of technical processes thinner than 5 nm.

By itself, the name Apple should appear first on this list, but this is already implied by default and does not cause much interest. For the Chinese smartphone maker Oppo, this will be an ambitious project, but from time to time, many Chinese mobile device suppliers make attempts to stand out from the competition. How instructive they are from the sad experiences of Huawei and HiSilicon is hard to say, and at this stage Oppo may feel like the potential payoff could justify the risk.

Google, apparently, will receive some computing accelerators from TSMC, which it will use in its own cloud systems. Corresponding processors will be produced according to progressive technologies with standards below 5 nm, and in this case the effectiveness of such an order will depend on the scale of application of such chips. It is unlikely that one of the segment leaders will have problems with this.
