Rally driver Ken Block is dead. As his team Hoonigan Racing announced via Instagram, among other things, the American died in an accident with his snowmobile in Wasatch County (U.S. state of Utah) on January 2, 2023. As the responsible sheriff’s office there explains in an official statement, Block in all likelihood lost control of the vehicle, which ultimately landed directly on him. This impact cost the 55-year-old American his life.
Rally icon and gaming performances
Ken Block is best known for his successful career as a rally driver. He competed in several world championships, but was also active in rallycross and numerous Gymkhana events. At the X-Games he was able to win several medals and thus enter the history books. He is also one of the founders of DC Shoes. His team Hoonigan Racing wrote a little obituary.

But Ken Block also gained some fame away from the actual racetracks, even in the field of computer and video games he had several prominent appearances.
