After having properly welcomed the new year with the Pokémon GO New Year’s event, Niantic has begun to prepare the ground for another initiative aimed at all Trainers of the augmented reality game dedicated to the most famous little monsters in the world.
From 08:00 on Tuesday 10 January to 22:00 on Monday 16 January will take place the Sparkling Fantasy event, which will feature Dragon- and Fairy-type Pokémon as protagonists. During the scheduled days, Mega Salamence will make its Pokémon GO debut in megaraid (rarely also in a chromatic version), while Clefairy, Clefable, Jigglypuff, Dratini, Togetic, Marill, Ralts, Vibrava, Bagon, Deino and Dedenne will appear more frequently in the wild. For the first time ever, with a bit of luck, it will also be possible to meet Dedenne in chromatic form.
Zekrom captured between 10:00 on Tuesday 10 January and the same time on Wednesday 18 January will be able to use the featured attack Thunderstorm, which deals 90 damage in Trainer Battles and 140 damage in Gyms and Raids. Inevitable as always there will also be gods Bonus: Pokémon caught with Good, Great, and Excellent rolls will offer double Experience Points, additional Candy, and, for Level 31 Trainers only, an increased chance of getting L Candy.
