It would seem that The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt enjoys great popularity not only among Western gamers, but also among Japanese users, which have allowed it to reach an important milestone.
A few weeks ago, in fact, the official Japanese account of CD Projekt Red has made official that the third installment of the series starring Geralt of Rivia has crossed the finish line of million copies sold in Japan only. This is an important goal that once again highlights how much the Polish development studio’s role-playing game has managed to conquer gamers from all over the world, without limits. Since CD Projekt RED Japan’s tweet goes back to last December 2, 2022before the debut of the free upgrade for PC and latest generation consoles, we do not exclude that the title may have reached a much higher figure thanks to the renewed interest in the product over the last few weeks.
While we await feedback on sales in the first weeks of the new year, we remind you that the physical PS5 and Xbox Series X version of The Witcher 3 could be released this month. On our pages you can also find the review of The Witcher 3 Next-Gen.
