What happened to Ubisoft’s Star Wars? The message shared by Creative Director Julian Gerighty at the beginning of 2023 is paired with the previews offered by the now well-known Insider-Gaming “deep throats” on the video game of Star Wars entrusted to the care of Massive Entertainment.
Taking a cue from Gerighty’s wishes, the editorial staff of the portal edited (among others) by Tom Henderson took stock of the situation and summarized the leaks shared by anonymous informants inside Ubisoft.
From the Insider-Gaming special, interesting indiscretions emerge on the gameplay and contents of the Star Wars video game under development at the digital forges of Ubisoft Massive. According to the leaks, the title should take on the contours of a action adventure with a free roaming structurewith tons of worlds to explore (presumably generated through a procedural engine): the Galaxy far far away from Massive’s Star Wars, consequently, should resemble the No Man’s Sky universethe acclaimed space sandbox from Hello Games.
Again according to the previews of Insider-Gaming, the new Star Wars video game developed by the authors of the The Division series and the ambitious open world Avatar Frontiers of Pandora will focus on the deeds performed by a fully customizable character, against the backdrop of a story that promises to be very long and full of twists. And you, what do you think about it? Let us know with a comment.
