As part of the CES 2023 exhibition, ASUS announced new products from the network equipment segment, including the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98. It is the world’s first quad-band gaming router to support the new Wi-Fi 7 standard. The device is equipped with eight antennas, supports a wide channel of 320 MHz in the 6 GHz band with 4K QAM modulation and can operate in four bands. With Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RU Puncturing, the device provides high throughput in multi-channel mode, combined with a stable quality connection.
The router provides throughput of 11525 Mbps in the 6 GHz band, 5762 Mbps in the dual 5 GHz band, and 1376 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. As a result, ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 is capable of providing a total throughput of up to 25 Gb / s. Equipped with one 10 Gb/s WAN/LAN port, two 10 Gb/s LAN ports, four Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
