Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper Jan Sommer is close to joining Bayern Munich. Munich’s main goalkeeper Manuel Neuer broke his leg while skiing on vacation and was out until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Bayern offer Sommer a contract until 2025. The keeper’s current agreement with the Mönchengladbach club expires in the summer of 2023.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for Borussia Dortmund since July 2014. This season he has made 11 appearances for the club, conceded 14 goals and kept four clean sheets.
