Razer introduces Project Carol, the world’s first pillow with immersive near-field surround sound and haptics that transports gamers to a new world of sound and tactile immersion. Project Carol is the latest concept design from Razer’s innovative R&D department dedicated to creating new product designs. The team provides important impetus for Razer’s future product portfolio and has already won several CES Innovation and Best of Show awards.
Project Carol takes immersion and realism to a new level with its clever use of near-field surround sound for clarity, paired with 7.1 surround sound for an immersive gaming experience. Unlike traditional speakers, Project Carol’s near-field surround sound offers more direct sound from behind and an immersive soundscape. Project Carol is powered by award-winning Razer™ HyperSense technology. The pillow converts real-time game sound into haptic feedback so gamers can feel everything behind them and be in the middle of the action.

Razer is also unveiling two VR accessory peripherals for Meta Quest 2: the Razer Adjustable Head Strap System and the Razer Facial Interface, designed in collaboration with ResMed, a leading expert on mental, cognitive and social influencers to enhance VR gameplay improve and increase comfort.
The Razer Adjustable Head Strap System is designed for long-lasting comfort and balanced weight distribution for all head shapes. The high-quality nylon material offers reliability, comfort and durability, while the optimized weight distribution ensures better balance during play. The soft, adjustable straps help players find their perfect fit, and the quick slip-on design ensures little disruption when resuming play.
