The second semi-final match of the Youth Ice Hockey World Championship took place.
The Canadian team beat the US representatives with a score of 6:2. Interestingly, the Canadians bounced back from the score 2:0. In the first 10 minutes, the Americans were able to throw the puck twice to the opponent, but already in the middle of the second period, the score was 2:4 in favor of Canada.
By the way, Canada reached the final of the tournament for the fourth time in a row: in 2020 and 2022 the team became the champion, and in 2021 they took second place.
Note that in the final of the tournament, Canada will meet with the Czech Republic, which beat Sweden in a tense match.
