500 hours – that’s more than 330 football games without a halftime, 6,000 five-minute terrines from the microwave or 185 times watching Avatar – The Way of Water in a row in the cinema. Cosplayer Kamui took that long to create her spectacular outfit, which brings together two of Blizzard’s biggest game brands, Diablo and Overwatch. The work on this sensational cosplay took over 1.5 years and you can see that in this spectacular outfit including weapon and shield. Kamui’s work was very well received not only in Germany, but also worldwide. Demonic Brigitte caused a stir internationally.
How do you actually know Kamui Cosplay?
If you are interested in elaborate cosplay “Made in Germany”, you can’t really avoid Svetlana and Benni from Nuremberg. For 20 years they have been creating cosplays that have attracted worldwide attention far beyond their Franconian homeland. They visited a total of 38 countries, presented 58 works on their travels and have written 15 books about their passion.

Kamui’s Demonic Brigitte is based on fanart by Zach Fischer showing the popular Overwatch character as he would look in Diablo. The glowing shield, an armor-piercing mace and the filigree, impenetrable armor speak for themselves. Over 1,000 LEDs are installed in the outfit. When looking at the pictures, even the layman should realize how much effort went into this cosplay.
