There is a lot of curiosity to discover all the qualities of others Fire Emblemand see if on the technical front it will be able to make progress compared to what we saw in 2019 with its predecessor, Fire Emblem Three Houses. Well, Digital Foundry is already analyzing the final version of the Nintendo title and thus collecting the first impressions of the full game. And there seems to be some improvement when compared to Three Houses.
First and foremost, Fire Emblem Engage hits 972p in docked modewhile in portable mode it drops slightly below 720p: in both cases we travel on the fixed 30fps, with more stable performances than what we saw in Three Houses. Digital Foundry also points out that the clean image of the new game is more consistent compared to its predecessor, resulting in this way much more beautiful to see both in portability and on the TV screen. Finally, there do not seem to be any particular technical problems, although the well-known newspaper mentions some sporadic stuttering phenomena in some moments.
Digital Foundry is said overall satisfied of the technical improvements made by Nintendo with Fire Emblem Engage, thus marking a step forward compared to what is offered by Three Houses, even in loading times.
