LaLiga, the equivalent of Ligue 1 football in Spain, continues its close fight against piracy. This month, the organization secured three significant anti-piracy rulings.
Following the legal proceedings instituted by LaLiga with the Danish association Rettigheds Alliancen, the Frederiksberg court ruled that the broadcasts of Spanish first and second division football matches are “the expression of free, creative and personal choices, therefore original creations which benefit from the protection of copyright”.
IPTV Smarters PRO black du Play Store de Google
Among the decisions, one will retain in particular, the suppression of the application IPTV Smarters PRO of Google Play which, once installed, allows you to view the pay television channels on which Spanish professional football matches are broadcast. Note that the Lite version is still available.
This application does not give direct access to matches, however it allows you to play illegal IPTV video streams. However, it facilitates access to illegal streams thanks to a very ergonomic interface comparable to that of Netflix, for example.
As iGen points out, LaLiga takes on 20 IPTV services, 30 streaming sites and over 80 video players, many of which are available on the Play Store and App Store. There will therefore still be material for discussion in the coming months. This last decision is important since it may set a precedent for future similar proceedings.
