As one of the spearheads of Sony’s first-party studio, Naughty Dog is currently busy working on a project which fortunately has been confirmed beforehand. Apart from maybe a secret project that they haven’t brought into the public domain, we know that at least they are busy working on a game The Last of Us in multiplayer format. Not much information is shared about the games that should be offered in this separate release format, but at least we get a little picture through the latest artwork they released.
2023 is supposed to be a special year for The Last of Us and Naughty Dog. It marks the 10th anniversary for this fantastic survival horror franchise. So far for the current year until December 2022, the entire The Last of Us franchise, including the first and second series and remakes, has sold more than 37 million copies. This number, of course, has the potential to increase with the release of the PC version of The Last of Us Part I, which will launch in March 2023.
Naughty Dog will be sharing more information about The Last of Us Multiplayer this year.
Naughty Dog also promised to start sharing details about The Last of Us Multiplayer game which they are working on this year as well. They promise that this one multiplayer game will continue to carry cool stories, characters, and gameplay. The development team will be led by Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati and Anthony Newman. Unfortunately, there is no information about how far this game has been developed.
