Netflix has officially announced the renewal of the hit series Wednesday for a second season. On this occasion, a short teaser for the sequel was released with footage from the first season, a tribute to Tim Burton and, of course, individual close-ups with cutie Jenna Ortega.
Netflix did not even give an approximate release date for the second season. That is, nothing was even said about the year there, so the premiere is unlikely to take place before 2024. The first season of Wednesday premiered on November 23, 2022. The series almost immediately became an undisputed hit for Netflix, breaking the mark of 1 billion hours watched within a month.

Also note that on December 12, the series was nominated for the Golden Globe in the category “Best Series (Musical or Comedy)”. Additionally, actress Jenna Ortega, who played the role of the main character Wednesday Addams, received her nomination (“Best Actress in a Comedy Series”).
