At the end of 2022 the company Microsoft published a lengthy response in response to an administrative complaint from the US Federal Trade Commission. The trial of the complaint by the US Federal Trade Commission is due to begin in August 2023. The proposed merger deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard. Therefore, companies need to remove regulatory hurdles before then. And this can not do without concessions from the FTC.
