Hidden Path Entertainment. But, as it turned out, this project was not affected by cancellation and reduction. As reported Whitney “Strix” Beltran, director of storytelling for the upcoming game, an epic in-universe project D&D is still in development. The studio will not be affected by the proposed reductions, on the contrary, it invites a number of specialists to work. Jason Schreier, however, insists on the fact that his information is correct, since the cancellation of the Hidden Path Entertainment project was announced not only by his sources, but also by representatives of Wizards of the Coast. Hidden Path Entertainment began its history with a number of projects for the company Valve. In particular, the studio worked on updates to Counter-Strike: Source, as well as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Age of Empires II: HD Edition and Left 4 Dead 2. A project in the Dungeons & Dragons universe was announced in March 2021.
The game was never officially announced, but it is known that it should be a big-budget third-person role-playing game in the open world.
