After Nvidia presented the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti on Tuesday, it is already officially available in stores today. As of 3:45 p.m., 13 copies under 1200 euros are listed as available in the PC Games hardware price comparison – it may well be that there are already other models available in stores. It currently starts at 899 euros. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is apparently the same line of graphics cards that was supposed to be released earlier with the name GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. But there was criticism of this, since the 12GB version, in contrast to the “normal” version of the GeForce RTX 4080, not only has 4GB less RAM, but also a less powerful GPU.
The only difference in the name, based on the amount of RAM, resented many experts and interested customers – maybe that’s why Nvidia didn’t complete the release after all and is now launching the graphics card with the much more appropriate name GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The following 13 models are already available for less than 1200 euros, whereby we name the boost clock and the length of the graphics card in addition to the price – this information is currently missing from Gigabyte:
