Over the last few hours, the Battle for Olympus event has officially started, which will allow players of the Overwatch 2 season 2 to face a series of challenges in an exclusive timed mode and grab free rewards.
The main novelty of the event is the Battle for Olympus mode, which is a Free-for-all deathmatch set in Ilium and in which the selectable characters are different from the usual ones. In this case, in fact, it will be possible to choose from a small circle of heroes who will not only have a skin imposed by the game, but also skills whose functioning has been modified for the occasion.

Ramattra – PoseidonGod Power: Annihilation Insatiable Vortex is a large whirlpool that pulls in enemies then blasts through the air Flurry of Fists launches large water bombs that deal more damage and travel farther

Roadhog – CiclopeGod Power – Filth Lasts 15 seconds Massively increases in size, gaining 600 health Instead of the Ultra’s usual fire, throws boulders that deal massive damage Melee hits deal 5x damage and knock enemies back
PharahGod Power – Rain of Fire Lasts 20 seconds Can move during Ultra Rocket Launcher fires three-headed rockets Fuel consumption of Thrusters greatly reduced Kills heal Pharah and extend duration of effect

Another novelty concerns the set of challenges that players will be able to complete to receive a series of free rewards, among which we also find a legendary model of Mercy. Those wishing to spend premium credit, on the other hand, can purchase one of the exclusive skins on sale in the shop, such as that of Widowmaker in Medusa version or that of Reinhardt in Minotaur cuirass.
The event will have a limited duration in time and, therefore, will remain active until the next one January 18, 2023.
